Physiotherapy home visits and extra support across

For many people, additional care is required to manage long-term conditions, or treatment following time in a hospital. Our home visits service covers the towns and villages surrounding South Woodham Ferrers. Our physiotherapists will provide treatment, help and advice for many conditions and situations, which might include:

• Mobility assessments and walking aid advice
• Advice on equipment and setup (e.g. setting a comfortable height on chairs)
• Steps and stairs practice (indoor and outdoor)
• Outdoor mobility and using local transport links
• Post-hospital discharge
• Support mobility for those with orthoptic, neurological and other issues
• Support with respiratory and breathing conditions

Our physiotherapist has special interest in supporting individuals with a range of neurological conditions. We can provide treatments and sessions to help manage the physical symptoms associated with:

• Strokes
• MS
• MND
• Parkinson's
• Post rehab (in relation to mobility issues)
• Long-term management of the above conditions

We provide functional assessments and exercise plans to support your treatment. Rehab support is available at home or at our clinic. If you have any concerns, your GP will be able to offer further advice on how to incorporate physiotherapy into your treatment plan.
